Sonnet 18
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?我可能把你和夏天相比擬?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.你比夏天更可愛更溫和：
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,狂風會把五月的花苞吹落地
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.夏天也嫌太短促,匆匆而過；
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,有時太陽照得太熱,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd; 常常又遮暗他的金色的臉；
And every fair from fair sometime declines,美的事物總不免要凋落,
By chance,or nature's changing course,untrimm'd; 偶然的,或是自然變化而流轉.
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,但是你的永恆之夏不會褪色,
